Presented by Brendan Hanrahan, known for his lively, visually impactful and highly informative slideshows that explore the state's rocks, fossils and wild places, such as his award-winning Exploring Connecticut's Natural Wonders program, have become popular favorites. In response to popular demand, Mr. Hanrahan now also offers a series of new programs that highlight community-based environmental management efforts in Connecticut. These programs describe initiatives being undertaken by local groups throughout the state, the promise such efforts hold for resolving many of the environmental issues affecting our communities and how the "spirit of place" present in many localities can empower community efforts.
